“This is a proud moment for the club,” said Michael Heinrich, GFC General Manager. “To not only compete in but to go undefeated in the first season of this league is a testament to the players’ dedication, teamwork, and love for the game. We’ve set the standard, and now the challenge is to keep building on this success during the upcoming fall season.”

The inaugural title also marks another milestone in Galileo Football Club’s growing legacy. With their unbeaten run, they’ve not only raised the bar for summer seven-a-side soccer in the Howe Sound region but also inspired younger players to join them and compete at a higher level. This season saw two young players step up and contribute to the championship run, gaining invaluable experience that will prepare them for more competitive play in their upcoming youth seasons.
“The young guys didn't disappoint,” Heinrich added. “They showed they could handle the pressures of playing in a more physical league and by the end you could not tell them apart from anyone else. It was a pleasure to watch.”

For now, though, it’s all about celebration. The Galileo Football Club Sevens are champions—undefeated, unyielding, and unforgettable.
